The way the UK law does this is via Planning Controls within a Conservation Area.
Unfortunately, Hamilton Square and the wider conservation area, is under constant threat from developers. The Hamilton Square Conservation Area Advisory Committee has a vital ongoing role in preserving this uniquely important heritage.
