The Friends of Hamilton Square are really happy that Wirral Borough Council has money that can be used to improve the area. Adding signs that identify the conservation area for residents, businesses and visitors is a significant step forward.
Philip Barton, Chairman of the Friends of Hamilton Square, said “This was something we discussed several years ago. We will be receiving up to 7 new signs for the conservation area. This is good news for Hamilton Square and the whole area.”
The Friends are involved in suggesting where the signs should go (See Map)
They will also continue their work with the the Council’s Heritage Officer, to see what other improvements can be made.
