Wirral Council will soon be starting work on the Hamilton Square Conservation Area-Towards Net Zero Project. This is an important step to help UK reach its environmental target, especially for Listed properties.
The Council has invited the Friends of Hamilton Square to be part of its stakeholder group, thus the Friends have the opportunity to be part of the process. We can provide input in a meaningful way when needed.
The project will produce a professional assessment for retrofitting two target buildings, a Grade I Listed building and combined Grade II listed buildings in Hamilton Square, and include a combination of projects and activities.
For example, the project with the University of Liverpool, intends to develop newsletters every month to show the progress of the project and inform you about any upcoming events.
Any feedback the Friends have will be sent to the Council’s coordination officer, Agustina Solassi.
